quickie about the fingerprint scanner

#1 Post by holr » Fri Oct 07, 2005 6:36 am

hi!
i should be getting a t43p next week and i have a quick question about the fingerprint scanner, i know you can set it so that only you can log into the computer, but can you let other people have access? will be a bit inconvenient if i have to log in the missus every time!

It's closer to 20, actually.
20 fingers can be configured for the BIOS/HD Boot passwords because they have to be stored in the reader or BIOS itself.

More fingers can be used for the Windows login.

You can pick which ones out of all your registered fingers are Approved for power-on.
