LCD default brightness

#1 Post by avitron » Fri Oct 07, 2005 2:49 pm

I use my R50e mainly in a low light environment and I set the LCD brightness at 3 regardless if it's on battery or AC. Is there a way to make this as the "default" brightness level so that I don't have to change it every time? Right now whenever I restart the brightness goes to maximum when I plug in the AC adapter.
Thanks.

I have a T42. The brightness setting sticks around regardless how I switch between AC / battery or even reinstall windows.

Perhaps a BIOS bug?

Create a new scheme in battery maximizer with the brightness setting that you like, and use it as your default scheme. I also have an R50e and have no problems with the brightness. (I use 5/3.)

Run the power manager (Battery Maximiser Wizard) from the taskbar, by clicking on the green icon that shows the percentage of the battery remaining, and configure it. :D
