802.11b in T23

#1 Post by lilserenity » Sat Jul 03, 2004 5:31 am

Hiya,

Assuming I had the antennae, the right lcd cover - would this card:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 38687&rd=1

enable my T23 to have 802.11b, V90 modem and 10/100 ethernet?

As I understand it the original 802.11b cards from IBM were part of the modem carrier card - and just replacing the minipci card would loose me my ethernet capability.

Excuse my ignorance but this is grey area on my T23 knowledge. I jus tdon't want to replace the mini pci ethernet card with this and loose wired network capability with the 10/100 RJ45 connector at the back

Cheers!

YES, see also

P.S. It should be only a modem/wlan card and not as described a modem/ethernet/wlan card.
