I am planning to buy used (4-6 months old) T42p (2373HTU). Since this is going to be my first ThinkPad I have couple questions:
1. What's the best way to quickly check all hardware - is there any program I can run on it to see that everything works fine and the previous owner didn't replace any parts(besides running warranty/system details on IBM's site)?
2. What software I should get with it?
3. Is this is a good deal for $1500?
4. Can the wireless *b* card be replaced with *a/b*
5. Is this is a good deal for $1500?
Thank you
