I had trouble with a ThinkPad getting damaged when someone slung their luggage into it in an aircraft's overhead bin. (Sometimes there is no row in front of me to put it under the seat.) I'd like to find a more protective case than the soft-sided ones I usually see.
I saw strong cases at www.pelican.com , the 1490 series, nice but they weigh as much as my laptop.
Anyone else have experience or knowledge with this?
