Config Static IP in IBM Access connections

I have a T42 2378DUU.
I am trying to configure a static IP address in IBM access connections, but I keep getting an error message to USE DHCP IP Cofiguration in this location profile.

Can anyone tell me the proper steps to use to set this up.

Even when I manually configure the adapter, My PC reverts to DHCP

Nevermind - just do not use best available connection.
After I picked the wireless adapter only, I was able to configure the settings.
