Blank Screen on T20

Hi there,

I have asked this question previously but cannot find nor recall the answer!

Upon booting, the screen on my T20 is frequently blank. Windows seems to start, but until I waggle the screen open and closed, the backlight remains off. Obviously, there is a screen connection issue, probably in / around the hinge.

Would be very grateful for any advice. It is a soldering iron job? Can I repair it myself and if so, how?
