RED bluetooth icon

#1 Post by frdchang » Tue Oct 11, 2005 6:40 am

i just upgraded my T42, and now i have this red bluetooth icon.

i believe that is the ibm version of the bluetooth drivers. (am i wrong?)

however, the light blue with white logo bluetooth icon shows up as well. (i believe these are the microsoft drivers)

i tried directing the bluetooth drivers to the 'unsigned' bluetooth drivers which are the ibm drivers...but i have none on my computer. (this was taking from the ibm help pages)

what did other people do?

also... when i press Fn+F5 my wireless option to turn the modem off or on is gone....

this all happened when i updated my laptop using the handy dandy levono updater...

just try to uninstall the ibm bluetooth software and the reinstall. then you need to update the drivers (as you said with the unsigned ones which should be listed).
