crazy mouse on IBM T42 and Windows XP

Hi,
It's been a month since my mouse has started to become crazy. She cannot stop clicking especially while I'm on msn. Since all my current windows open or close or new ones appear all in once it is not really practical. I just wonder what makes that and how it could be change because I can't stand it anymore.
If someone could advise me quickly, that would be really nice,

ps : it's strange but when msn isn't open this problem happen less, would ther be any link ?

If I am understanding your problem correctly, it sounds like you may have some spyware. I recommend Spybot. Start by downloading, installing, updating, and then using it to check for problems. Many people recommend Ad-Aware as well. It's best to run these programs from Safe Mode, but you can run them under normal Windows. Also if you have more than one user set up on your laptop, you should run them under each user.
