T42 Rear Lablel

The label on the bottom case of the T42 has the numbers 1,2,3,& 4, with pictures of an ever lengthening "something" (screw?) next to each number. Anyone know what this is all about?

I think you will find the answers to those two questions in your owner's manual. It is the "Use on-system help" found by activating the Access IBM shortcut on your desktop. ... JDHurst

You pretty much gave yourself the answer.
It represents each of the screws and their lengths and coresponding number.

The "something" are screws and the numbers relate to their respective sizes.

If you look on the bottom of the unit at the screw holes for the palmrest and keyboard you'll see numbers next to each which specifies the screw that goes in that hole.
