How does it compare to the T42?
I have a T40 and its rock... plan to get a new T42 but the new Sony S widescreen look tempting

I think it is these little things that people forget about when they buy cheap notebooks. Yes maybe it might work after 2-3 years but if the screen and case is falling apart no one is going to take it outside or move it anywhere. Neither would I invite my friends to my dorm to check anything out on a laptop that falls apart.boardmonger wrote:My Sony is mostly broken after owning it for 3 years. The plastic case is seperating, so you can see the inside of the case if you pull on it. It still works, but I wouldn't take it out side any more.
