X41-Tablet brightness level when running on battery

#1 Post by Kogi » Thu Oct 13, 2005 12:14 pm

Hi ,
When I disconnect my X41 tablet from power supply and it runs on battery , screen's brightness goes lower.
I checked my Power Management settings and brightness should not be changed either when connected to AC power supply or battery.

Is it possible to adjust it somehow , to set the same brightness ?

thanx.

Of course it's possible. You have to use IBM's power managment tool.

I suggest you to create a new scheme, and set everything you want, including screen brightness there. It's very simple, but if you have any question - ask me.

Yes , I did it , I set brighness level to a highest (7) and in Lower display brighness = "never".
However , when I put power plug out , display brightness lowers.
If you have X41 , try to check it ... see it on white background.

thanx
