where to buy current T-series model?

I'm a bit dissapointed w/ the "2-4 weeks" shipping estimate from Lenova on the T42 and T43.

Other online dealers claim to have T4x models that I'm considering "in stock", next day ship.

Any suggestions on a good online dealer to use? e.g., tigerdirect?

Any downside on ordering from these guys as opposed to lenova?

You don't get the 30 days return for any reason (you do have to pay shipping to send it back). The other guys either will not accept return (TigerDirect) or have a restocking fee.

IMHO one of the benefits of direct is that you can sometimes snag a discount (educational or otherwise). You typically don't get that with a reseller.
