T22 dual display, "extend my desktop" questions...

#1 Post by jeffcrilly » Sun Oct 16, 2005 1:01 am

When I first got my T22, I checked out the "dual" display option.
Not very good. Only supports mirroring. Ok.. this is a function
of win2k.

My question is: if I upgrade to XP will the the "extend my desktop" option
work on the T22?

If so, will I be able to use the LCD at 1400x1050 and the external monitor at 1600x1200 - at a decent refresh rate? (I could tolerate 16-bit color?)

thanks

jeff

Yes. Thanks for the feedback.

I also tried it once I got winXP installed on the T22.

The only gotcha is that you get really low res on the external monitor.
I think max is like 800x600. B^( not even 1024x768 which is "todays" minimum standard.
