Help! want to do a factory reset, but lost 2 cds

hi there,

I need some help with my T42, i created 5 out of the 7 recovery discs, and didn't know that i would need all 7 to do a factory restore, now im stuck on the R&R screen everytime i turn on the laptop, what can i do???

What Model/Type ThinkPad T42 you have? (for example 2373-4WS, etc)

I do have the recovery disks for the T42 at work, but those are for the model 2373-M1U. Will check if they might work for you

any recovery disc from the T42 family will do...
My friend have a T43, just wonder the disc created from his will work on my T42??

I know of one guy who did that, however, he told me he had to modify something in the file system, can't remember what exactly.
