Where to buy battery for T20

I'm looking to buy a new battery for my T20. In the past
I've bought batteries from eBay but I've been less than happy
with the battery life and I've had problems when charging in
suspend mode. A battery from Lenovo costs about $100.00
more than batteries elsewhere. What is the recommended
way to go? Should I just buy it from Lenovo or are there
other reputable places to buy a battery?

On a related note, how to I tell if I need to replace the CMOS
battery?

Did you buy OEM batteries or third party batteries off of Ebay?

I haven't had any problems with new OEM batteries off of Ebay. You may want to look for a T30 battery to give you extra capacity over the T2x batteries (4400mAH vs 3600mAH).

It was a non-IBM battery.
