Future of T series

#1 Post by HamTard » Mon Oct 17, 2005 7:47 pm

So, is there any hope the next T-series will have an X1600 or X1700 instead of, or along with, the X1300 (which I assume it'll get, since it's using the X300 now)? Because if they offered an X700 as a $200-250 option over the X300 in the T43, I would've bought it in a heartbeat. I want a Thinkpad pretty badly, but I can never find myself satisfied with the low-end graphics cards. The OpenGL cards don't count, because the T43p cost about CAD$2000 more than a similarly equipped T43.

well the Mobility 9600 I have is by no means latest technology but gives very good performance for the laptop. If it had 128 MB of VRAM it will be best, but guess I will have to settle with overclocking it lol

And ah, If only they had the Mobility 9800 128 MB option...

Maybe the T43 will get the X700 or something, could be nice
