Correct Ram for my T42p

#1 Post by kuma » Mon Oct 17, 2005 11:39 pm

IBM is shipping my new t42P now, 2373GRU, and I want to have my extra ram get here by the time I get my computer. So what I've read newegg.com is the place to order from. I just wanted to confirm that I had the correct set up for ordering the ram, this is what I was thinking about ordering:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820155122

thank you,

that should work ok. I've bought several sticks of Corsair RAM and they've all worked flawlessly. that would be my recommendation:

I'm in the same boat. I did a little research and someone here explicitly said these work great in his T42 so I'll be buying these:

that was probably me, as well. Crucial's quality is great and that is still my first choice for a 1gb stick of DDR.

kuma was looking for a 512mb stick of DDR which is why I recommended the Corsair instead of Crucial (corsair happens to have a better deal on 512's and the quality is still very good).
