Question about upgrading the Hard Drive on my T40

I just got a t40 with a 40GB HD. I am thinking aobut buying a new 80GB hard drive for it. They only concern I have is can I install windows XP PRO with the CD-Key on the back of the T40? I can get ahold of a XPPRO OEM cd if I must. Would I run into any other problems?
