firewire on a G41?

Hello

I am getting a G41 288679U for video editing mostly and I need some advice ASAP. Since the model I am purchasing only comes with a 80GB 5400rpm HD, I am considering the possibility of getting a second HD 120GB 7200rpm in a firewire enclosure.


How do I go about getting Firewire on the G41? Has anyone used a G41 with firewire?

Do I have to install FireWire PCMCIA Card? Is there one made by lenovo / IBM one?


does the G41 come with free PCMCIA slots?

are there any compatability issues with third party firewire cards?
