MACK Warranty Experience?

#1 Post by dc81 » Wed Oct 19, 2005 1:52 pm

Has anyone ever used MACK Warranty? My T41P that I purchased has IBM Easyserv warranty that expires January 2007, and then 3 years MACK warranty after that. I understand that it is not IBM warranty, but my main question is if anyone has used them or has experience with them.

The Worst

I had sent my notebook in and it took more than three months!!! Definitely was a shocker compared to IBM's service turnaround. If you can stay away from them. They say it usually takes about 6 - 8 weeks on average for a computer to be repaired. Crazy isn't it?

It came with my computer. My IBM Easyserv expires 1/16/07, and then I get 3 years Mack Warranty after that. Maybe I'll just use it as a last resort it I experience major problems. But, even though they took that long, as mentioned above, did they do a good job fixing the problem?
