Winimage for backup

just ran a Winimage 8 Pro Disk image creation on my T40 and T43

in case anyone else is using this, it's by far the simplest backup and recovery software I've used

the only other backup software that has less bells and whistles is Snapshot.exe which I run via a command line and it runs the backups in batch mode in the background

both Winimage and Snapshot create a live backup, that is, you do not need to power down and bootup from a disk or CD (BartPE or BootPE)

What's cool about Winimage also is that it allows you to automatically mount the virtual drive (in my case on a network server) so if I delete files off my primary machine, I can just access them directly on the image or even execute them from the image)
