Wifi light flickers...

#1 Post by James314 » Fri Oct 21, 2005 10:17 am

hi all,

I am still having some wifi signal issues, the connection seems to drop out every now and then even though I have the new drivers installed. I notice the light of the wifi icon under the LCD panel keeps flickering off every 10 seconds and it should be at a steady glow right? I have Intels wifi 2200bg. Any help on poor singal issues would be greaty appreciated...

Mine flickers also, if you have your little network icons enabled on the taskbar you'll notice the little screens light up when data is being recieved, same principal. You may have someone nearby using the same channel on their router you are, try switching channel to see if your connection get stronger. There are far more issues troubleshooting wireless than wired, router firmware, interference from other devices.
