Your T30 without bluetooth button but you can use bluetooth in that ibm leave the button inside.

Files\ThinkPad\PkgMgr\HOTKEY\TpFnF5.exe (instead of Press Fn+F5)

You can really only use BT if the machine came with a BT daughter card installed .. otherwise it simply won't work because the hardware is physically not there.

Yes, first you need to have a BT card, BDC01 or BMDC200. You maybe also need an BT Antenna (can use the wifi AUX line)
