x30 memory sensitivity?

Hi,

I've run into problems with the last two SODIMMS I bought for my x30 - one was branded IBM memory (from ebay, so it probably was counterfeit - it did look real, though) and the other was a stick from Compusa - I think it was Centron branded. Anyway, neither chip worked.

I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the x30 as being sensitive to memory type...

I bought Crucial for my X30. Worked perfect.
