Bluetooth vs. R51

#1 Post by FRiC » Wed Oct 26, 2005 9:27 pm

Can I install a Bluetooth card in my R51 that doesn't come with Bluetooth, and has no Bluetooth antenna? Will the card work without an antenna? I won't be needing long range connectivity.

yes you can install the internal CDC bluetooth modem card on the R51
you need to buy the Bluetooth antenna assembly or use the aux antenna from the wireless assembly
no you need an antenna for the bluetooth card to work

My R51 has a 14" screen and has no Bluetooth antenna option. If I use the aux antenna from the wireless LAN, will it affect the wireless card?
