CD-RW/DVD combo in A31p (TEAC DW-28E) can read DVD-RAM

It can read DVD-RAM quite nice in my A31p even it is not mentioned anywhere in specs. From time to time although it needs restart to properly load DVD-RAM media. I use Panasonic one BTW.
Does it work for someone else?
