I did a fresh installation on XP Pro and tried to install R&R 3 (after applying all XP updates, all IBM updates i needed (all but access connection and migration assistance) and JAVA, nothing more) and got the following error:
"Error 25011. A file required to install the rescue and recovery environment could not be located. This setup cannot poceed. Make sure that the correct .tvt file is located in the same folder as the setup package and restart this setup" after which the installation won't start.
The package was D\L via the Software insaller and the installtion was also launched via the last.
The folder does contain a .tvt file.
Any ideas?
(I've try D\L the full 450+MB package but the server was very slow, so if there's another solution it's preferable)

I think it might have something to do with XP regional settings - i'll D\L the relevant language pack and try again.
Will report my experience...

As i suspected, it has something to do with regional settings. i've D\L the relevant language pack file from here - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... TVAN-RNRLE, put it in the same folder as the other files the package extracted to, and everything worked smoothly.
