T43 noise finally driving me crazy

Haven't complained about it untill recently... The fan is now pulsating... Originally it sticks at a specific RPM and stays there
Now its
Vooooo*TTTT*Voooooo*TTTT*Voooooo (Pulsation)
Latest BIOS, anyone knoe the issue? My aunts T42 with its fan on a high RPM is less annoying and noisy.

Also, now apparently setting my T43 to maximum preformance makes the fan spin slower... Couldn't they reverse this (Adaptive -> Less loud, etc)
That and my desktop is out of comission, stuck on the T43 fan "pulsation" (Arrrrrgh)
