Selectadock II and 600e

So I just got a Selectadock II. When I dock my 600e the beeper starts going off and the laptop shuts down. I know that these two devices are compatible, but I have NO idea what the problem is. Can anyone help?

Figured it out. Both the selectadock and selectabase need to have the AC adapters plugged in.
