Two suggestions for new forums
Two suggestions for new forums
This one is entirely serious: Would it be possible to have a separate T4x forum and get T2X & T3x their own forum? While I sometimes find the T4x threads interesting they often have little real relevance for those of us using T2X and T3X's.
Another suggestion: If we can't get people to stop complaining about Lenovo's shipping, can we at least give them their own little corner so they're not cluttering up the T forum?
Thanks for your consideratoin.

Bill will have to decide whether or not to split the T* series into multiple forums. My inclination would be to not.dsvochak wrote:This one is entirely serious: Would it be possible to have a separate T4x forum and get T2X & T3x their own forum? I don't think the shipping threads warrant their own forum, but I will start moving them out of the T series threads when I see them and stopping them when they drone on too long.

I asked the question regarding the T's because it look like the T4x issues are somewhat different than the T2x & T3x questions.
Thanks for your response to the shipping issue threads. From my perspective, they're just making it harder to find threads that may be of interest to me.

Splitting T series forum
Excellent suggestion. I currently have a T23 and T22 in the T series and usually info on the T40 and up series doesn't affect me. Great idea........Thanks......Ron

To that end .. another eventual way would be to split everything between IBM and Lenovo, much like your legacy section .. to me everything not Lenovo is legacy at this point in time.

Thanks for the separation of the T series machines. Since the A's and T2x's are the same vintage there may be a lot of overlap in issues.
Now I've got 1 further suggestion:
Could this thread be moved to the revised R,A,G,T2X,T30 forum and be made a sticky? I ask as it seems to be a concise, yet accurate, description of the differences betwee models.

Well, no, it covers all the series including T4x series. And frankly, Item #1 in the FAQ has the same information.dsvochak wrote:Could this thread be moved to the revised R,A,G,T2X,T30 forum and be made a sticky?
