Docking T42

Hi All,

I just upgraded from an R40 to a T42.

I use a mini dock to connect to an external monitor and keyboard.

When I dock the laptop and close the lid though, it automatically goes into sleep mode. My R40 however would automatically just switch to the desktop monitor as the display.

Does anyone know of a setting that I can make to not have the T42 go into sleep mode when shutting the lid in the dock?

Check your settings under Power Options Properties. Right-click on an open area of the desktop, choose Properties > Screen Saver > Power... > Advanced, check the settings for the Power buttons.
