Greetings to all. I'm a new member and hoping someone has an answer to this problem. I have a T23 with W2K 5.0 Build 2195, DirectX9.0c, 512MB RAM, S3 Graphics SuperSavage/IXC 1024 ver 6.13.0001.1290 (latest I could find). Problem is when running DXDIAG and doing the 3D Test. The spinning cube on the first test does not show the DirectX logo. The Direct3D8 and 9 tests both fail with an Out of video memory error at step 19 (loading texture bitmap). The device tab shows approx total video memory at 16MB.
Any suggestions or possible fixes would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Carlos
Problems with DirectX
I think you have to blame the S3 supersavage drivers, they are not directx 9.0 compatible
