Thinkpad protection purchase only?

Hi, I recently got my T42p thru EPP and am considering
add Thinkpad Protection Plan (TPP).
Actually I received the email offer from Lenovo which contains
direct link to purchase that warranty.
The cost is $169 (3yr), but when I tried to check out,
there is shipping costs ($9 for 2nd day, $10 for standard) as well
and I couldn't find the way to get free shipping.
I tried to change shipping method to others (e.g. standard),
but still there is shipping cost.
It is so weird that Lenovo charges shipping cost for purchasing
this warranty.

BTW, Can I purchase this TPP thru EPP to save some money?
At the moment of purchasing my T42p, I saw this option cost
$152. I regret not to choose that.

It is a document shipping cost from HK.
Recently I purchased ThinkPad damage protection (3yrs) in web.
Lenovo shipped 2 documents (Term&Condition,Acquisition agreement) from HK by UPS express as same as ThinkPad.
It was held in custom clearance for few days in Kentucky same as TP.It was funny!!
