Hello All.
My wife purchased a used Thinkpad A22M (2628-PTA) from a 2nd hand dealer...The laptop works fine, but when she connected the phone line to the back of the machine, to dial into the internet, the Connection Wizard appeared, which she filled in all the information, but Windows did not detect any modem card in the machine.
I have since found a Intel Pro/100 SP Mobile Combo Adaptor card in the machine, which from reading on the internet, I believe this card is for both ethernet and modem, but still the laptop still will not communicate with the modem, and we have tried everything to get it to dial out, but with no luck..
Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.... ps: I am not very computer literate.
