I found the following on the Driver Matrix Page for my T42.

This package installs an update for ThinkVantage Rescue and
Recovery version 3.00.0027 and Client Security Solution version
6.00.0027. Rescue and Recovery version 3.00.0027 or Client
Security Solution version 6.00.0027 must be installed on your
system for this update to work.

This update requires approximately 5MB of space on your hard drive.

1. Prevents users from creating Password Manager entries on Web
pages that would have erased all entries in Password Manager.
2. Enables selected non-English users to create a Recovery CD
without first having to create rescue media.
