Upgrade mainboard thinkpad 600 (type 2645)

#1 Post by rubs » Mon Nov 07, 2005 4:18 am

Hello,

I have a good working thinkpad 600 (2645), PII 266 Mhz and a thinkpad 390x (450 Mhz, PIII, not working keyboard and pcmcia). Can I change the mainboard of the 600 with the 390x?
And how about changing the mainboard of a 600 with 570e?
Can somebody tell me this, or where can I find such information?

You cannot do either of the changes you've asked about. The boards are each customized to their own series.
Machine-Project: 750P, 600X, T42, T60, T400, X1 Carbon Touch
