Flashing battery light?

#1 Post by JEBB » Mon Nov 14, 2005 12:22 pm

Does a flashing battery light mean the battery is fully charged or something else? My R40 was off and plugged in when I noticed it.

As you can tell from the question I am either new to Thinkpads or forgetful. I plead guilty to both.

Thanks.

Flashing green means that it is almost charged.

Flashing yellow means the battery is low and recharging. If the yellow never changes to green then your battery is dead or dying.

Can you give me a reference where might I find that kind of information? Having to come here just to ask such simple questions isn't the best.

Thanks.

Look on page 49.

That link is for the Hardware Maintenance Manual, I think you can use the FAQ's for this forum to get this type of information too.
