Access connections running in background, but can't see it

i got a virus about 4 days ago, cleaned it just fine, caught it early.

however, sicne then my access connections has been broken. it runs in the background (processes list in taskmanager) but it doesn't pop up. my fn+f5 button doesnt work either.

i've updated everything (3.81) but still no go. I don't know what to try next. any help will be much appriciated.

Ps. using a t42.
