x40 battery options and vendors

I'm trying to decide between getting an 8 cell battery or a second 4 cell for my x40. People's experiences/thoughts?

And any recommendations for good online vendors for batteries? Thanks.

I have an X41T and it depends on your lifestyle. I have two 8-cell batteries because I need the long battery life. If you don't, then get the 4-cell.

I try to buy direct from IBM and avoid problems. But when I tried to buy my 8-cell battery, there was a multi-week delay so I googled for the part number and found PC Connections had it for a good price and readily available and bought from them and I had the battery the next day (great service).
