I just installed a Hitachi 100 GB 5400 rpm HDD in the ultrabay 2000 bay on my A30. The original 20 GB IBM HDD is installed in the internal HDD and XP Pro and all my software is installed on it. Is there any advatage to loading the XP and software onto the new 5400 rpm HDD and using it as the main HDD? If so can you use the ultrabay HDD as the main HDD or do I need to remove the original and put the new Hitachi in the internal location?
Thanks
Frank

5400rpm HD
I bought an old T22 and swap the existing 4200rpm HD with a new 5400rpm, the difference is stalk, ie in terms of booting win xp, etc.
Your arrangement you still stuck with slow booting of OS.
