MiniPCI WiFi

#1 Post by Lomax » Fri Nov 18, 2005 12:50 pm

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to pick your brains on this, I'm considering replacing the internal modem in my 600X with a WiFi card but I'm not sure which model/manufacturer would be the best choice. Do I need to use an IBM one or does the machine support cards from other manufacturers as well? And what about combo cards, what options do I have (Wifi+LAN or WiFi+Modem)? Your input would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Lomax

I recommend you replace the modem with a 802.11b/g wifi card.
