Station locked

I set up password required for returning from screensaver and because I use fingerprint to lock on, I need to run my fingerprint. Today, after 3 days of getting the thinkpad, the fingerprint is not responding. I can't even use Ctrl+Alt+Del. When I pressed them, nothing happened. I swiped my finger and nothing happened. The mouse trackpoint is working. Help please.

Maybe a BIOS update will help; just a sugestion.
