Will the motherboard of T43p fit the T40p/42p case ?

Is there any difference between 14,1" LCD and 15" LCD T Series motherboards

Will the motherboard of an IBM T43p fitt an IBM T40I/T41 case ?

Will i able to use it without any problems ?

It is highly possible to use. You could compare the diagrams from the hardware manuals, if they are identical screw placements, size etc...

sloomy, pease keep us posted with your findings. I have a T40 with 1.5Ghz CPU and Radeon 7500 video which I'd like to update with a faster CPU or a new board with better CPU/graphics. I'd be happy with a T42p board with Radeon 9600 and a 1.8-2Ghz 2MB CPU

You certainly should be able to swap motherboards between T40 case and T43p. I'm not sure about LCD though since cases for 14" and 15" are different.

Been there done that. The ThinkPad T40 2373 14.1 lcd Base cover will accept any ThinkPad T42/p 14.1 lcd system board.

My upgrade was:
Thinkpad T42 system board 9600 64 MB Gbit LAN (FRU 27R1990)
Pentium M 745 1800 Mhz 2 MB L2 Dothan
Hynix 512 MB PC2700 SODIMM
