A30 p charging problems.

#1 Post by charles redmond » Tue Nov 22, 2005 9:41 am

Up until recently I had two a30p laptops at my disposal. One had a new battery in it and, as I had to send this computer back for repair I decided to swap over the battery to the one I was keeping. I now have a situation where my maximizer does not recognise the new battery and the percentage meter sits blank. It shows that ac is connected but how can I get it to show the battery state. Any help would be appreciated

See if the Bios and/or embedded controller needs to be updated.
