R50P Multiburner Plus?

#1 Post by seefree » Wed Nov 23, 2005 4:29 pm

I'm looking at picking up an R50P this week, and one of the reasons I picked it over a T series was that it has an ultrabay enhanced drive and the T series had the ultrabay slim. From what I read the multi-burner plus for the enhanced drive is twice as fast as the multi-burner for the T series. My only concern is that the R50p is an older model, and I can't find out how to determine if it has to faster ehanced drive. The old IBM specs list it as "same as Multiburner Enhanced drive option" but not mention of "Plus." Any R50p owners or gurus can help me out here!
Thanks!
