tabook.pdf and DVD-RW question for T42

#1 Post by mtbiac » Thu Jul 08, 2004 4:01 pm

I'm wanting to get a T42 2373-9ZU. The TABOOK.pdf file says it comes with a DVD-RW, but when I type the product # into the quickbuy thing it says that it has a DVD/CDRW in the short title description, and when you click on it it says DVD-R (i'm assuming they mean DVD-RW)?? is this normal? which specs are correct?

also - do the multi-burner drives (DVD-RW) burn both + and - R/RW formats? or just -R/RW ??

thanks

Maybe that's another entry for the FAQ:

15) I looked in tabook, and it says model 1234-OIU comes with the frammitz booster. But the specs on the web site don't mention it. Which one is correct?

Historically? Go with tabook.

is it normal for the IBM site to screw up often? I've noticed this with other models, and I got both confused and scared. I sure hope it comes with the specs TABOOK lists :D
