IBM T43 BIOS

Does anyone know a way to enable PAE and XD in the IBM Bios? This bios seems very limited. has anyone tried to flash it with a generic bios... and is that possible?

According to the program EVEREST, the CPU supports PAE, but not DEP (XD).
