Does anyone know if a tp 600 cd rom drive can fit into and work in a Ibm external floppy drive caddy, and if so how?
thanks

No they do not. Only the Floppy can go back and forth with the floppy caddy.

Thanks...I really didn't think it would work.
by the way it seems everyone in this forum really loves the thinkpads, judgeing by how many everyone seems to own.....which is understandable, from my brief experience with them they are very nice laptops....solid and reliable.

I have an old 600E (I now use a T42), but I thought that it would work. When I tried to put the CD drive in the external Floppy Case, it wouldn't fit - yet you can put either the CD drive or the floppy drive into the drive bay of the 600E!
