What do you prefer the white or yellow thinklight?

Just curious as my x40 will have an amber one, and my friends t42 has a white one.

as i sit in a pitch dark hotel room right now, i still cannot see any point for the thinklight at all. i mean, i don't look at the keyboard when i type.... so why would i need it again? even if i did need to see the keyboard, the lcd screen at its darkest lights it more then the thinklight.

I have used both, prefer the white but either will work.

im the "friend" he is talking about, and i just dont get how the amber one can be all that effective

I have used the amber and it is quite useful. It more than illuminates the keyboard. Give it a chance
